July is a 17-year old girl
who was unfortunate enough to be afflicted with a severe lung
disorder. Because of it, her body is frail and pale. Periodically,
July is rendered unable to breath, or her vital organs will lose
their oxygen to cause her to pass out. July has a head of short
auburn hair that likes to become disorganized and stick out at
strange angles. Her eyes are also a hazelnut brown, allowing her to
stare at one with the most adorable expressions. Since July has such
poor health she finds herself in hospitals a great deal, and wears a
hospital robe for most of her days.
As a
child born during the Myreison War, she was exposed to many of the
toxins that were a byproduct of warheads and Myreison technology.
Due the environment July’s body was hit with a lung disorder that
would stunt her development and wreak havoc upon her organs. As the
years passed, it was difficult for July to live normally, especially
after her family died in a Myreison raid. Ironically, she was the
only one that would live through.
July
did her very best to strive forward in life, she knew her time was
short as it was, to wallow in misery would only make her life worse.
Perhaps it was because of the fact she was very aware of her own
mortality that she was simply not attached to very much in the
world. After adopting a very strong willed, yet gentle personality
she continued her life to the best of her ability, though it was
difficult with no one to tend to her. July was taken in to military
shelters along with other orphans, or injured soldiers.
One
day, it would seem that her fate had crossed with that of another,
as one of the most vicious of all the Myreison forces burst through
the doors of the shelter she was staying in. It was none other than
the general, Konesence.
He
had arrived with a number of other Myreison soldiers and instead of
coming to be the harbinger of the end of her life, they arrived with
medical supplies. For reasons unknown Konesence was sent under
orders from Dimitri to provide aid, even during the war times.
During this time, July approached Konesence himself, requesting help
with her band aids and general maintenance. With great reluctance he
agreed to help. Her frail and weak nature struck the silver demon as
a pathetic sight, but July’s will to continue did intrigue him.
The
sudden appearance of Dimitri led to a mass evacuation. The Myreison
army changed plans and would rampage through the area instead. July
had passed out prior to the event, and had become missing.
Surprisingly Konesence returned and retrieved her himself,
evacuating her on foot, as Dimitri had left with the others already.
July
regained consciousness in the heat of their escape. She listened to
the sounds of the nearby fighting, and in desperation she pleaded
with the silver demon to help. Somehow, July had managed to sway the
fancy of the demon, even drawing him into the battlefield against
his own soldiers.
Afterwards July spent her time hidden away with other humans being
tended to, under Dimitri’s eye. Though it was right in the center of
the Myreison capital of Moribundus, they were safe.
As in
any tale of determination and will, a sudden change of events would
lead to a dramatic climax. On the night of Dimitri’s coup d’état,
the Chancellor of the Myreison High Council discovered the
sanctuary. In a fit of rage he began to slaughter the injured humans
as a way to try and restore his position of power. As the very worse
was to come down upon July, Konesence once again entered to save the
young girl.
Though a young and still sickly girl, she has become the Beauty to
the Beast. She, with nothing but her sheer will was able to change
not only continue her life but to influence and change a demon into
a hero.
On
top of her lung disorder, July has also begun to show the signs of
what would only be elemental mercury poisoning. She has become more
clumsy and disoriented in her movements, as well as complaining
about occasional headaches or has episodes of tremors. July is not
bothered by any of the new symptoms, and does her best to shrug off
the difficulty in her life to continue doing things she enjoys. |
